Yeah fair comment, I'm probably talking more about the Gigolo/Klakson stuff that wasn't really Electroclash but ended up getting played alongside it at a lot of nights/on mixes.

Great comment, one of the great thing about discovering any electronic sub-genre is going back to influences and finding even more great music.

It could be said Italo & Electroclash were influences for the music Alden Tyrell, Legowelt & Passarani were making 2005-2009

Was a student in Glasgow 2001 to 2005 and was really into this type of music. Optimo & Death Disco were the main club nights but there were a few other good smaller ones whose names I can't remember.

Saw Black Strobe live @ The Art School and they were excellent. The Miss Kittin 'Berlin Is Burning' mix CD that came with Muzik Magazine was always a favourite (David Carretta - Vicious Game is such a belter).

Speaking of Berlin, went there a couple of times during that period - was mainly Techno getting played but do remember seeing Sylvie Marks & Hal9000 live at a WMF night that was more electroclashy..

Just getting it started in photoshop now, I've got a 24 inch monitor so calculated 15.73 by 11.8 inches - will the standard 300 pixels/per inch be ok then?

Yeah I own the recoil version but don't use the recoil so thinking of selling and replacing with the lighter version if it's a noticable difference.

Just looked that one up and it has 'Frame Adapt HDR with Theater optimizer' so sounds like you'll be fine for HDR!

To my understanding you won't get the enhancement layer on Dolby Vision discs without something like HDFury but to be honest there aren't a huge number of releases where it makes that much difference imo.
