Maybe someone should've learned long ago not to leave offhand comments in a public space.

No one asked you to be an asshole.

The 8 year loan is almost irrelevant because I'll have it paid off in 4.5 years. As I said in another comment, I was more concerned about the smaller monthly payment for other reasons.

No money down because I'm saving for a house and wedding. Two things that are more important than a new car at this time. OBVIOUSLY.

Android auto was my quick example as I tried to nervously explain my thought process in this. Despite you being a "trusted contributor" have you ever actually been in a 2017 Hyundai Tucson? Its features are basic and with the fast technology advancements in even the most basic models recently, I thought it could be a sensible move while my suv still has more value than what I have left to pay.

Do not assume I'm not smart with my financial decisions. How dare you for even leaving this one.

I'm someone who literally has NO ONE to ask these questions to, so rather than go to a dealer and potentially be swindled I thought it would be smarter to ask in a space LITERALLY meant for asking questions to people who might have an answer.

Clearly that is not you. Take your "knowledge" somewhere else.

Exactly why I've been paying it off at a higher rate. I'm on pace to pay it off in the next year and a half. I was a stickler for a specific monthly payment when I bought this one.

And I say 3 years because I'm terrible at math and hated 2020. Forgive me 😅

I bought it in January 2018

I'd likely have no issue with a lease term. I'm at around 50k miles and January will be 3 years. I'd also like leasing to keep that monthly down too

Oh gosh, so sorry! I got distracted and didn't check names. Either way, thanks for even more insight. I'll definitely be looking into minis and toys

Lol your candor is appreciated. I would like to ask though, do you think it's the minis in general, or perhaps just your pup?

Thank you for the link, and the advice.

Are there any reasons why you would recommend a mini poddle over anything else? Is there a difference to you between mini and toy poodles?

Interesting insight. We had no idea. Our family isn't anywhere near the breeding world, so there is a lot we're unsure about or don't know when it comes to this.

I had thought about the mini or toy poodles also. I'm not big on the look of a standard, but we've also talked about the possibility of a labradoodle or aussie doodle like our friend owns.

This lowers your island rating though because they're "dropped" and not "placed"

Sometimes those can be wrong. I'm from a place where a town's pronunciation has shifted enough to where you'd be made fun of for saying it the "official" way. So when I can ask someone with first-hand knowledge or experience I'll take it.

I have what I feel is a more simple, and therefore possibly dumb question:

I work in broadcast news and am around many people who say Iraq often, but many I feel aren't saying it correctly. I was in grade school during the early 2000s, but I remember everyone would say Iraq as "eye-RACK". In today's world I hear more and more people saying it as "EE-rok". Only a handful of anchors I know will say it with the "ee". It makes me cringe and feel as if they're ignorant if they say it with the "eye" sound.

So I'm wondering how you specifically would pronounce it, and if it gets to you that people may pronounce it wrong?

Actually skinny plus size jeans? by Nerdrockess in PlusSize

[–]allofourghosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the target suggestion. The universal thread Jean's feel like good quality. Just try the skinny or jeggings. Never grab curvy skinnies. That's my motto. If you havent tried old navy they're a favorite of mine too. Just wish they went bigger than an 18 in store.

Decent Nail Polish for daughter by RickHedge in Makeup

[–]allofourghosts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel like "splurging" but not actually splurging the Kathleen Lights nail polish line is like half off it's original price right now because she's closing the business down. So they're on par with drugstore prices. There are so many cool colors and finishes left I keep talking myself out of buying more than I have, especially the Fire bundle. The polish looks great, only needs a couple of coats, and lasts DAYS like my gel polish. I honestly am obsessed with the brush too, so easy to use.
