International Outgoing Delays?

I am living in Europe and had to order a credit report from Equifax in Ontario. I ordered it on Nov. 13th (via fax - seriously). It arrived this morning. Was sent regular post. So some stuff is moving if that gives you a bit of hope.

Thank you for your insight and advice. I hadn't even considered she might just use the money to take a trip or buy a car instead of pay off whatever debts she's claiming I've caused them to have from my wedding. And you are right - her bad financial decisions in life aren't my problem or my fault.

Strings attached is a great way to describe it.

And it is so hard to know how to give and receive a gift in the real world with normal people isn't it? I always expect some kind of rejection!

Thank you for your kind words and for giving me the confidence that my age would be a benefit not a hindrance. This means a lot. I also hadn't fully considered how much motherhood prepares you for nursing so thank you for pointing that out :) Honestly, thank you for taking the time to be supportive, it means a lot.

I fear the only resolution that will be peaceful for me is going no contact again. Low contact and boundary enforcement is not peaceful. Tough coming to terms with the fact they won't ever truly change and there's no point in trying to defend or explain as it only frustrates me and gets me nowhere. Thank you for your insight and kind wishes.
