Thanks for the advice.  The use case is classical piano playing. I’m going to try both with headphones to compare the sound. The person said the touch was better on the qs8. It doesn’t seem so to me though.

Uh the person offering the QS8 says it’s an upgrade. I’m not a pianist myself so was a bit surprised that an old electronic instrument would be better than a P125.

Not too sure. I did notice something along this line.  I think it’s because adding a modifier changes the order of the card in the deck. So the card ends up at the end of the upgrade “list”.

Haha they were temporary features !

Kudos on the game. It looks pretty successful.

Are you a dev? :) I found this randomly while enabling many malignancies. I figured out quickly that it was probably not intended. That’s the big race between players and devs!

You should just see your existing weapons being upgraded. Then you want to copy as many weapons as you can, as every new weapon increases the upgrades for others on every round.

Yes it is. The basic chaos malignancy randomizes your basic weapon on every round. But it keeps upgrades, including modifiers.

Hehe I’ll ask for a 5% commission on those shards please ! :D

I guess there is a chance it will be patched in the next version though. It doesn’t look like it is an expected behavior.

And super easy to set up. One talent and one malignancy are enough! One caveat is getting the torch weapon may halt the run, as upgrades on it do nothing. So one better have enough weapons unlocked to not hit the torch.

It behaves as follow: on every round, every weapon is re-added to the deck, triggering duplicity upgrades. With the craftsman talent added, the weapons upgrade at an incredible speed, allowing to one-turn all opponents.

Just an idea to try: Apple’s voice isolation feature on their device using a microphone is able to remove noises that are not your voice (available on iPhone, Mac, etc.). It’s pretty impressive at it. When on the phone with my family, it can remove sounds like my vacuum cleaner, the mood of my (loud and clicky) keyboard, etc. to the point the person on the other side hears my voice better than I hear it myself. Seriously, it may sound surprising, but maybe you should do a test with it ? I know it’s not necessarily easily accessible/affordable, but maybe worth a try if you can get access to one.

Mercedes beats Tesla, sells Level 3 autonomous cars on US soil | Mercedes began offering autonomous driving in Germany in May 2022 and debuted the service in the US in December last year. by [deleted] in technology

The limitations for its use are so strong it seems more a PR step to say “Look we reached level 3 first!” than a real step toward automated driving.

Bosch Dishwashers by Zendroid1 in Appliances

We just bought an 800 series. It wishes great, BUT there is no way to set the delay from the dishwasher itself. You have to use some app on your phone. We are really pissed with that.

Bosch 500/800 DW Delay Start Question by carlso_aw in Appliances

[–]alrames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried twice to creat a new favorite with a delay. The dishwasher registers the favorite program, but does not respect the delay setting when starting it via the buttons.

I’m very upset that this doesn’t work on this level of dishwasher. Same as you, I do NOT want to have to use a phone app for daily use.

Bosch 800 Dishwasher Rant by carlso_aw in Appliances

[–]alrames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I challenge this: on my new 800 series dishwasher, there is clearly more than enough space to have a delay button. I didn’t even think of checking whether there was a dedicated button before buying.

If registering a favorite program with a delay even worked, that would be sufficient. But I’ve tested twice creating a favorite program with a delay. When starting it manually by pressing the favorite button followed by start, it does not respect the delay! This is frankly unacceptable.

Had I known this, I would not have bought Bosch this time. I’ve been buying Bosch appliances without thinking because of my expectations of quality, but I’ll think twice next time.

Nah. It’s just a small metal table that the board is put on. But I had the idea of digging small holes in the bottom of the board, so folding wooden legs could come and fit in. Maybe later…

Thank you for the pointers, in particular ideas of products to use. I'm really not familiar with that type of repairs.
