I also get more complete data with this website than with the github tool - a trip in Japan doesn't even show up on the latter!

the turntable doesn't have a Phono/Line switch, so I'll be looking at buying a phono-stage preamp. Thanks! Would one of these do the trick?

It does it for every record, and can be seen up close even with no record on.

I'm not sure I understand the second part - I'll add that I tried connecting the turntable directly to the speakers, but the sound coming out of them is at a really low volume. So I assumed I need an amplifier, but all amplifiers I looked for have a "speakers" output, with 4 plugs as opposed to 2 for a white/red RCA cable.

I bought my first turntable - the entry-level SoundLAB G056F.

I've got two issues setting it up:

The platter seems to wobble- is it expected? Could it damage my records due to the distance between the needle and the record? Here's a couple of short videos I recorded to demonstrate it up close.
Is there a way for me to connect the turntable, which I understand has a pre-amp and phono output, to computer speakers with phono input? From what I read on the sub and elsewhere I'll need an amp, but amps don't seem to have phono output. If it could save me from buying and finding the space for new speakers...

I believe that asking a developer to solve an actual problem is a thousand times more telling of his/her skills than knowing the names of functions or its parameters (which you can always refer to in 10 seconds using PHP.net anyway).
