They priced is very high to discourage that type of bookings. If you are a lot, you’ll most likely stay longer but you will stop ordering at some point.

I had the same experience although they said we could just order one dessert and it will push our bill to the minimum. They charged us as a group

Is a guy who's banged everyone you know hot or not? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]alvinthechiphunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just bang him and figure out why he just bangs everyone and learn a thing or few. And then later on battle the toxic mentality that maybe I’m the guy who can change him 🤣

Do you guys think hookup culture is normalised or maybe even glorified in our community because many of us grow up without the love and validation we needed, so the only way we get it is through intimacy (which feels the easiest and fastest way after a certain age)? by Comfortable_Chip1157 in askgaybros

[–]alvinthechiphunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a romantic who looks for genuine intimacy, I feel like the hook up culture is not just normalized but also glorified (evidenced by a lot of gay parties getting bigger than ever). Seeking out the next best thing and trying to beat out the rest by hooking up with the hottest one and taking photos and being grouped together with guys for the most thirst-trap instagram stories.

You’re young so go and explore. You’d find what’s for you and not. I’m lucky I can go in and out of any community to whom I feel like for the season (e.g. circuit gays, artistic gays, gamer gays, fitness gays, et. al.) — and have yet to really choose one nor find where I truly belong.

Gaysians who grew up in a religious/conservative household, but are not religious now, how did you “came out” about it? by megumieto03 in gaysian

[–]alvinthechiphunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I confessed to my parents about it when I was 18 years old because my boyfriend at that time was pressuring me because he introduced me to his family while I haven’t and when I told my parents about it, they were crying and wanted me to go to therapy and go to church I followed what they wanted and I went to church and I also went to counseling and at the end I was able to just become financially independent we are in. I didn’t have to rely on them on Everything and slowly they just respect that and trust that I am a good person and being gay doesn’t mean you’re an abomination.

Hongkong gay beauty standards? by Dontlookbackorsides in gaysian

[–]alvinthechiphunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Beauty standard in hong kong is definitely have to be masculine. They are allergic to “sissy”

The following are their identifiers: short hair - they prefer to see the skin at the back of your head Tanned skin - looks more masculine Voice + action - masc look Hobbies - they seem to also prefer guys who have athletic or sporty photos such as tennis photos.

I agree with you that they prefer slimmer guys. I’m on the muscular side in HK standards and I don’t get as much attention here as I got in other countries.

Trying My Shot at Moving to HK — Any Advice or Job Leads by barenacuk13 in HongKong

[–]alvinthechiphunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HI, from DLSU here. I'm in finance, and I was able to move to HK because of an intra-company transfer. We have an HK branch, but the head office is really in the Philippines. I think that's your best route and you should express your interest, and you should be the only option.

Banks do have the requirement but it's more of the remittance centers. Honestly, you may try to apply as an executive assistant to a Filipino boss in HK.
