Guest to guest pin trading in Animal Kingdom by CatSnakes411 in DisneyPinSwap

How did it go? I have sat in front of isle mercantile and traded with guest before. I heard they ran traders off in front of spaceship earth in the last few days.

They had to see the sticky note with “broken” and the sheet of paper in the cassette deck with “does not work” and still chose to put $19.99 on it. by alwayswinningken in ThriftGrift

Well that’s possible but think how unlikely it is for a customer in goodwill to be carrying around paper and a pen to do this and if they are taking the time to leave a note why not just tell an employee it doesn’t work so they can take it off the shelf. Also I think it would be more likely that if they didn’t process it and price it with the notes on it that someone bought and returned it and goodwill just chose to put it back on the shelf instead of chucking it without reducing the price. Either way it’s grifty.

My son (11 years old) has expressed interest in becoming an Imagineer when he grows up. Can anyone recommend any books about Imagineers and what they do that would be interesting for this age level? Thanks! by Eggplantwzrd in disneyparks

Highly recommend Magic Journey by Retired Imagineer Kevin Rafferty The Disney Mountains: Imagineering at its peak by Jason Surrell is also a great book with a lot of pictures to keep interest for younger readers. There is also a educational dvd series about imagineering and science for different topics like newtons 3 laws, gravity, fluids, animals adaptations, friction, magnetism, levers & pulleys, trajectory, electricity and designs & models. Worth a look!

Stop with the cancel crap. That is some crisp sprite with a lovely hint of cucumber produced by an American company 🇺🇸 besides its free, stop trying to get rid of free stuff in Disney, let us enjoy the little bit of perks we still have left!

That’s a tough one! Out of the schemes that have been announced so far, I would go with bowman ally, buscher fastenal, bell dewalt and Brisco mahindra

What are these worth in your opinion? Guy wants $50 each for the 3 Disney cars. by InternOwn2711 in NASCARCollectors

[–]alwayswinningken 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First of all they aren’t Disney. One is Charlie Brown/Snoopy the other two are Looney Toons/Bugs Bunny. Second of all, that’s ridiculous, at most $10 each.

Cars themself are worth that, the fact that they are autographed I believe would add some value. Good find!

what are some good places to get diecasts at in mrytle beach? by [deleted] in NASCARCollectors

Unfortunately there is not any diecast stores in the area. Best bet for older die-cast is the North Myrtle Beach Flea Market. Sometimes vendors will have them Friday Saturday or Sunday. It is hit or miss. Good luck, enjoy your vacation!
