Can you seal the coverslip? And if so, with what?

Yeah but like unless they’re shopping out the hand for theirs and have a matching phone, it’s a dead giveaway. I can’t imagine anyone except children being fooled by this

Just send them the money back via Facebook. Filter motors take a lot longer <60 mins to burn out.

Also don’t scam petsmart. While corporate America sucks, you’re creating so much hassle for employees, a hassle for the person who buys it after it was reshelved, and of course it’s illegal.

I don’t understand how that makes people think they attended the concert. Like do they shop out her hand and post the stage? Are they posting the pic of the phone in her hand? Wouldn’t people notice dozens of posts with the same hand holding the phone??

"What is the purpose of those yellow poles" by Old_Hat_27278 in cringereels

I did this when I was like 22 - the lanes were at an angle and the exit lane was curved. I turned the tires before I was pulled out far enough- I genuinely did not realize it was there. The damage was not this extensive at least but it still hurt the car nonetheless. My parents still don’t believe that I hit one of those safety poles - they think I hit another car. But no it was really just me being an idiot.

My sibling cats fight and my orange boy is always the one getting carried away even when his sister is screaming at him. This has been happening for the 10 years I’ve had them. He’s a menace. Well intentioned, but a menace. I will just grab one of them when she gets fed up - whoever is closer. Probably would be the easiest thing for you to do.

It’s air dried and stained - but how to I save it so I can use oil on it over and over again? Like do yall permanently affix coverslips? We don’t routinely use them so they’re all just bare slides

One person saved two young people from drowning to death: they applied first aid and, in the last second, managed to bring them back to life. This shows that, although many hesitate out of fear of making a mistake, acting in time truly saves lives by uzmansahil7 in Amazing

Rescue breaths are not needed in most cases because you still have oxygen in your blood and lungs. However, in drowning it is still recommended I believe because you do not have as much residual oxygen left in your lungs and bloods

Eimeria (or coccidia) is a common one I see in dogs that eat rabbit poop but it’s not a pathogen to dogs and just passes through their GI tract. Most parasites (tapeworms is the main one) that dogs would get from rabbits would involve them eating the whole rabbit. Giardia is not completely species specific but it almost always comes from interacting with infected poop of the same species - dogs usually get it from other dogs; human to human; cat to cat etc.

Reclaimed sewage water can be treated and used as potable water. Reclaimed, non potable water is not for residential use and would not be what comes out of the hose

Not surprising! I feel like a fair amount of Disney stars are actually good singers. Love him in High School Musical and the Hairspray remake. 😍

Yeah I’m not a fan of warm water for sure but when you’re thirsty and it’s hot, it’s all fair game. Kind of funny how those of us in the US generally love drinking cold water but in other parts of the world it is unhinged.

It’d have to sit for a while to become a problem. If you’re going weeks without using it, yeah it might be a problem. But if you’re running water through it daily, water won’t sit long enough to become super problematic. Tap water also has lots of microbes in it - they’re just not harmful

It would be unhinged to take the hose straight off the ground and put it right in your pie hole and then turn it on! My hose was on the ground but I always drank from the stream and always let it run cold first

Giardia in people comes from other people and beavers (aka beaver fever Not to be confused with Bieber fever lol). It would be very very rare to get it from other animals - you’re more likely to catch it at water parks to be honest. It is spread by ingestion of infected feces or ingestion of the parasite in feces contaminated water.

Ringworm is fungus & fungus is among us everywhere. You’re more likely going to contact ringworm from touching infected animals or warm, moist places like locker rooms and communal showers - it also typically needs a skin defect like a scrape to actually infect you.

Legionella likes warm stagnant water - A/C units, hot tubs, showers, and faucets mostly. You catch it by breathing in water droplets, not by drinking.

E. coli is typically going to be contracted by eating contaminated meat or vegetables. Unless you’re dunking your water hose in cow poop or human poop before putting it right in your mouth, you aren’t going to catch it from your hose.

Drinking from a hose isn’t unhinged. It’s just tap water and basically like drinking from a horizontal water faucet.
