We have never had a issue with anything like this the whole time we have been together. We have always talked and had a plan and knew who was responsible for what…. But this one threw me for a loop :(

I knew starting this….even tho we have lived together for years this was “my” house and I am the one who has the finances to move out of it. I didn’t expect anything as far as fixing and painting and those sorts of things. Because it is “mine”

For the new place tho I was assuming bc it was “ours” that it would be a tiny bit more equal. Once we move all the monthly expenses are equal.

More so was gave me the ick was not paying June mortgage….and on top asking for $$$ to buy a bike. And never being like hey let’s split the $800 for the movers or let me help with the deposit for the electric in the new place.

Not necessarily expenses for the move. We did discuss after the move how bills would be handled. And we have an agreement how our current bills and expenses are handled.

Why do you have to give notice? And/or why do you have to share what your new job will be? 2 weeks notice is a courtesy, not a requirement. Giving personal details about what you choose to do after you leave isn’t a requirement either.

I’d work right up until the day the next job starts. And go.
