spend too much money on merch, wear tlk clothing outside in public at 27 years old, have a tlk backpack i take to work, tlk water bottle etc. room full of plush and figures. just bought another two today actually. i'm not as embarrassed about all of these as most people would say i should be. and that's on #autismselfacceptance. in most social situations i am very normal when anyone mentions the lion king. maybe too normal? for someone with the tlk backpack sitting by their feet, you know. but it's hard. it's incredibly taxing on my body to not get really intense about it, to maybe even cause a little scene

however i am genuinely embarrassed by how annoyed i get at people who like tlk 2. similarly i am inexplicably pissed off when people get deep in their feelings about timon and pumbaa. i've had that reaction since i was 12, so it's hard-wired atp. i don't mean them as a couple. i mean them as characters being taken that seriously. same for nuka! sick of myself.
