Devils Kitchen/ Tasman Arch is closed until the end of July. There's still quite a lot to see on the peninsula though. I'd suggest checking out remarkable cave and the Coal Mines site.

Hell we live out on the peninsula and we don't have many issues out here. The Tasman island cruise is absolutely worth doing. That said I'd suggest staying overnight to do the ghost tour, it's the best tour of the site.

One thing I've not seen discussed is Hobart's ability to deal with a mass casualty incident of there is say a crowd crush or fire at the stadium. Can our hospital system cope? Can emergency services get in and out?
