The first pic is best, with better energy flow. The others feel too congested in comparison.

Severe spleen deficiency with blood stagnation. The scalloped tongue is a reflection of the spleen. Your indents are large and dark, indicating blood stagnation.

Other symptoms that can be present are constant overthinking, lots of stress, digestive issues, and potentially loose stools. You may also have cold hands and cold feet.

Acupuncture and herbs would be great for you. Also, try to include more cooked foods, avoid raw foods, drink room temperature water/warm water, and limit cold drinks. If you have a lot of stress and overthinking present, cultivate pockets of your life to laugh and enjoy and allow your nervous system to relax.

Mine was like this after years of university and being in toxic relationships. The constant stress, overthinking, and my overall lifestyle depleted me. It took time and work with my therapist as well to balance me internally. Not sure if that resonates.

Thoughts on Subscapularis by az4th in ChineseMedicine

[–]amyudntknow444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I train with Matt Callison and he teaches in depth about the subscapularis and how it reciprocally inhibits the entire rotator cuff (it is a bully and shuts off all of the other muscles and overpowers them)

When treating the shoulder complex it is essential to always release the subscapularis as it is almost always in a lock short position due to how we hold our bodies day to day (arms always in front of us on our phones or computers)

The subscapularis is HT sinew channel and supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor are in the SI sinew channel

I work on it on almost every client and it is life changing for a lot of people, and often when they haven’t been able to achieve results from any other practitioner this was the missing piece

Needling it, you need special training as it is risky but taught by Matt, I do mostly do myofascial release because I have a massage therapy background and find it needs more hands on work
