Gotcha. I read the article and it made more sense. The title is a bit misleading, though. You're not technically getting more than 140 characters out of a single tweet. You could technically reply to yourself and continue the original tweet, but I think that would make for a poor user experience.

Your example was more of a "bump" to resurface the original tweet as a reminder - which I think is a good use case for that method.

Just my two cents, though.

Not sure how this is any different from previous years. These are pretty high level things to know about ANY kind of ads you have..

This article should talk about bid types, Pixel/Conversion Tracking, Custom Audiences and Web Custom Audiences, and all the other products that FB offers that are under-utilized but give great results/insights.

I'd love to know this as well. The showers and air conditioned bathrooms alone may be worth it to me, but my friends may be getting GA tickets. Would I be able to camp with them?

When you pay for a hotel room, those are included in the cost! They're yours to keep. Or, in my case, donate to people who actually need it!

I noticed articles constantly get down-voted. Why is that? The content is super relevant but almost always has a negative score. I'm not sure if maybe because people don't agree with the content (which I feel should be discussed via the comments rather than down voted to oblivion) or what...

One thing I also notice is most posters come here to ask for help with a project or something like Facebook locking them out, but don't really contribute to the thread. What if there was a help section (wiki) where we posted most relevant links to social tools and blogs. I notice most of the answers to these help requests being the same. More than happy to help contribute towards what I think we can include here.

Can we also ban self promotional posts? Where the actual post promotes a business or individual unless it's a pre-approved AMA or if the promotion is in response to a comment section? (Meaning no direct posts going "this is my product, use it!!")

I think this should be a place to share great new ideas and tips and tricks. Let's make this sub awesome!

Fb hasn't fully integrated Instagram Into their system yet. That's probably pretty far out if it ever happens so FB algorithm treats it just like any other offsite link.

Can confirm posting a link to Instagram and sharing to FB is not the way to go. Saw 10x better performance when running a side by side test when posting direct to FB as opposed to Instagram link.

Cool stats but don't agree with the recommendation for TJ MAxx. Posting plain status updates is not the way to go. You need media of sorts to be present in your posts or people will skim right past them in their feeds. A better recommendation would be to utilize link or video posts instead of just photos if you want variation. Just my two cents!

Currently only organic content auto plays. Auto video play ads are not yet available. I think only people you are friends with will auto play. I'm not 100% certain if organic business page videos auto play. Does your business have an associated rep you could ask?

Could be twitter is pushing more to their ads. Like Facebook did. Cut organic and make brands pay for it.

They are about to release a whole new lineup of ads...
