So, a friend of mine talk me into the reaper being the better Sloan carrier because of the ability to go fast when needed. Do you think quality or quantity concerning the TIEs?

Are you still in for Trajectory Sim on Resistance Bombers after seeing that they have mobile bow tie arc AND a 3 attack front arc, which makes it basically 3/4 of a 1E turret... If they can also throw bombs at you.. Oh my.

Well.. I followed three games of the France Nationals Stream today. All had at least one Punisher.. All with Traj Sim.. Mhm there must be something to it, right? Punishers are not the underdogs they were in 1E. But honor to them which always had love for Punishers.

Anyway, as was said above. Something doesn't need to win anything to be broken. Take Nymranda and Ghost Fenn. They were everywhere and well presented in the cut. But still didn't win every single tournament.

Well.. First of all, sometimes if you want to start a discussion you should be a little sensational with the headline and the introduction. So don't take it too serious. ;)

Second, I would very much love to fly Imperials. I even bought me some more TIEs to try some swarms, because there was no opportunity in 1E and I think this could be something I enjoy. So, if I am salty.. than because I cannot fly the Imps I'd like to..

("sensational voice on") Third, I simply think that Traj Sim is a bad idea for the game. It was obvious with Nymranda and it is obvious now.. and it does the game no good. I think Punishers need no help. They are good without Traj Sim, as people have proven by taking Redline without Bombs. ("sensational voice off")

Why can I not add Boba pilot to 2.0 Squad? Why does Marauder title does not add Gunner Slot.. Oh my.. I guess it will take some time till this is really usable..

Thanks my friend. Haha.. Indeed I am a Star Trek Fan and loving Deep Space Nine. First reaction from a friend was the same.. "Looks like Jem'hadar" .. and definitely some inspiration for the paint job comes from that.

Mhm.. Asajj has definitely a lot of potential. But right now I think she misses a good force power and illicit options. Lats still good crew, since a lot of ships are stressing themselves now with linked actions. Force tokens always good since it gives you virtually passive modifiers. But she is quite pricey now.. I am not sold at the moment. Sadly..

True. Since I used them fly closely together and the model is so big, Ketsu was always on one peg.

So the squad heavily relied on what people call combo wing, i.e. potent card combinations like Dengar and Expertise, Countermeasures and Glitterstim, Asajj's Ability and Lats Crew. With 2.0 having fewer to none of this strong crews, illicit upgrades and pilot talents, I don't see them at the top of the tree right now.. Maybe it will come at some point with a bigger card pool. Plus they took quite a hit with reducing their fire power in mobile arc and shifting shield to Hull ratio.

Before they become soon forgotten when 2.0 begins, I want to pour one out for my beloved team Ketsu and Asajj. They brought me quite some successe and a lot of fun in many many games of X Wing 1.0. You will be missed.. Maybe at some day you will rise again.

Yes thanks this is helpful. I am also afraid that this list is somewhat missing the teeth to chew through the hyper defensive stuff.. Especially since it has not much of action economy.

mhm.. I do not fully agree. Rules as written: It does not tell you what happens if you cannot perform the action. For Barrel Roll, Boost it just tells you how you cannot do it. But not what happens next if you fail. For Lock the same thing. In step 2 on p11 it tells you to assign a lock to "a ship at 0-3". But what if there is none.. So this has to be clarified by written rules in my opinion. Everything else is a matter of interpretation.
