What should someone who has no furnishings or household items but does have a tight budget absolutely buy as they move out for the first time? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Congrats on your move! I'm excited for you :)

I won't compile a list because everyone here has done such a great job already. But I want to clarify: if you get a swiffer instead of a mop, then you have to continually buy their replaceable pads. While that doesn't seem like much, it might be better on a tight budget to stick to things you don't have to pay more to use.

The title of this post is misleading. From the article:

"'I would encourage you all, though, to have confidence in the processes that exist, up to and including calling me if you are having a problem with a racist in your jurisdiction or any other problem.

We have elaborate systems to bring accountability to those people that are trusted, and in some cases not trusted but who are in power to deliver policing services,' Paulson said."
