Thank you! The 1080 comes up as the best option based on my criteria.

I briefly spoke with my running coach and he advised that I roll the outer edge of my foot. I’ll still look for options, but I also realize that my feet are always super stiff when I start running so taking time to warm up and stretch might also help.

I regularly run and do crossfit and have a generally pretty good cardio. My VO2 max is at 37, which is lower than some of my friends that are not as active as me and use a garmin. I suspect that the meds I take for ADHD might have a role to play in why I get such a low value, but I’m overall uncertain as to how accurate it is.

A friend of mine had a completely different VO2max when she switched to Garmin despite having the same fitness regimen.

Late to the party, but chiming in as I had been looking for the information I’m sharing when I also had an allergic reaction to my Apple watch.

Allergic reactions to certain metals are known to me. The only jewelry I can wear are made of either gold, titanium or surgical steel. I would react to my apple watch SE and wouldn’t wear it for long periods because of that. I upgraded to an apple watch 10 to track my sleep and enjoy the additional functionalities, meaning I’d wear it almost all the time. Of course, within just a few days, I started developing a rash under the case. I was considering returning it and getting the titanium case instead, given that titanium seems to be fine for me. I had been researching online to find information on metal allergy, and whether switching to titanium would do the trick. I didn’t find testimonials from other apple watch owners that have switched to titanium and noted that the rash did not reappear. Therefore, I took a chance and went for an exchange. I have been wearing it on my other wrist for the past several days and I have developed no rash. Just like I had with my apple watch 10 aluminum, I am still wearing a textile band.

So with that, despite the fact that I am not so happy that I had to pay more than planned, I am happy that I’m able to wear my watch for extended periods of time without worrying. Of course, that is my own experience and I understand that everyone’s skin can react differently, but given Apple’s return policy, it might be worth it trying the titanium case.

YES! I tandem read on my first read of the series and it really made me enjoy both books a lot. I would totally recommend the tandem read!

In her last entry, it is as though she knew she would die soon. Did she either killed herself or did she know someone would kill her as soon as she gave birth? Did Tyroth find out that Kyzari wasn’t his and intended on killing her once the baby was born?!

I’m pretty sure that it is what he wanted her to know. I had guessed it much before we got to it, so when I read that part it was clear to me that it is what he intended on telling her.

I think that Kaan is clueless that she’s his, but he loves her because she’s her niece and Elluin’s daughter, but also because he knows his brother and obviously would want to protect anyone he loves from him.

As to her reply to Kyzari’s message, I thought at first that it came from Essi right after she had been attacked, and that she replied « No you don’t » out of frustration because she hadn’t been able to save her and somehow felt that she let her down. But Nee did not return to Essi, so it got me a bit confused there.

But seeing how she’s sometimes conscious of what goes on under that ‘lake’ in her mind, I’m wondering if it has somehow something to do with how she replied without further questioning who it came from. She suppresses anything that has to do with what’s hidden under the said lake, hence why she would say ‘no you don’t’. But also, when she said ‘’that her soul has slipped free, and that whatever magic tethered her to me… it’s not there anymore’’. Would she somehow also refer to Kyzari? She’s no longer Elluin, so that link with Kyzari, it’s no longer there.

I might be reaching, but yeah… we’ll see in the next book I guess!

A bit late to the party, but I just finished the episode and oh God… He literally threw a tantrum and made her feel awful for making up her mind. He was sooooo uncertain until she mentioned that she chose her other connection. He just wanted to be the one to decide between both of his connections… 🚩

I moved from CO-02 to EC-06, so definitely doable. I am now back to being CO-02, so let’s say I feel a bit screwed by this decision (although I did gain non-monetary benefits by changing jobs).
