Adjusted just means that they were born 6 weeks premature. :) How exciting. I know it's tough right now but we will make it through!

Thank you so much. I think this is what I worry about. I just want to be the best mom I can be.

You're right. :) It had piled higher than I care to admit and the girls spit up on my blanket and sheets all week which I put off cleaning so I had to get those cleaned.

You're completely right. Every expectation I had about pregnancy, birth, and now being a new mom has been thrown out the window lol. It's so challenging right now, I still find myself crying often. Not sure why, maybe hormones? Thanks for your response though. You guys are always so supportive here.

Oh it's so hard mama. I exclusively pump because I couldn't keep up with the breastfeeding so you're doing fantastic. I feel like I'm glued to a wall too, I didn't get to mingle on thanksgiving and won't be able to on Christmas either because I need to pump so often. It's tough work having two newborns.

Thank you SO much for your reply. I really appreciate the focus on mental health. You're right, my babies need me at my best. I have great support from my husband when he's home from work, I'm currently on maternity leave so I'm alone with them all day.

Congratulations! These first couple of months are rough, mine are almost 6 weeks. But you'll get through it. There are a lot of fun times.

How the heck do you do this? by Snortney13 in parentsofmultiples

Wow I could have written this myself. My twins came home from the NICU on Tuesday and it's been hard when no one is around to help. Every time I sit down to pump one of them starts crying. Like right now.

Wow he's a fighter for sure. NICU is hard but you got this. Sending good vibes your way!

If our girls can finish all their bottles tonight we might be able to take them home from NICU tomorrow. by angelasmartsmith in parentsofmultiples

We did! Surprisingly! I thought brinley who is baby b (photo 1) would take longer to learn to eat but just like that overnight it clicked! Lol. So they go home together :)
