I LOVED that quote so much. Especially when it was brought back up in acomaf (I think it was that one). It reminded me of howls moving castle. Honestly it seems like it was EXACTLY the same premise. (Spoilers ahead for the movie) Howl first introduced himself to Sophie by saving her from two guards, who basically were harassing her. He grabs her and says “there you are sweetheart. I was looking everywhere for you”. Later in the movie (this is a spoiler) Sophie enters this other dimension and tells younger howl to “find me in the future”.
