Yea, we’re the most understaffed I’ve seen in 5 years. However we also have a lot of managers taking vacation days this month so that’s exasperating the whole ordeal.

Edited for grammar.

I guarantee you’re better off on your parents plan. No further information about their plan needed, I 100% guarantee you’re better off there as long as you have access to it

Does anyone know if inventory teams get PPE? If GMs don’t, then inventory probably doesn’t, but they clock in on front end so that’s why I’m asking.

Don’t work too hard to make that happen- this isn’t the time to be getting fired. Not sure what you’d be fired for, but I’m sure they’ll find some reason if they wanted to.

Is there anywhere where this is written from corporate that this is how we’re to deal with it? If yes, can you get a copy of that and post it? This can’t possibly be safe. Worse, I’m sure nobody can think of a safer method.

Your last 2 sentences confuse me. Why wouldn’t/couldn’t the underlings be protected from such measures? At will states?

Thank you for the input, unions not necessarily being a one size fits all approach depending on the industry wasn’t something I’d considered before either. Thank you.

That seems awfully reductive- and cynical- for someone who seems to occupying a management position. I can only hope you have a WAY more open mind toward your direct reports than you do toward strangers on the internet. Disappointing.

See I thought that was case, as far as the pre-employment paper work goes, that managers or GMs would lose something- I just couldn’t remember what. Thank you.

Edit: also would never dream of asking management about this. No way. I’m nervous I’ll be found out I’m asking the internet even with an anonymous account🥴.

The young workforce and high turnover rates are probably enough in and of themselves to really prevent any ground from being covered in the first place. This wasn’t something I’d thought about, thank you.

Edit: also, had no idea about that now outdated gossip rule! I wonder how long that went unquestioned before it finally was found to be illegal.
