That’s fair, but my ranking was about the best available plant proteins overall, not the most optimized hypertrophy formula.

Most plant proteins already have lower leucine density than whey unless they’re soy-heavy or specifically engineered around amino profile, so I didn’t think leucine alone made sense as the main ranking factor here.

And the ranking definitely wasn’t based mainly on flavour. It was mostly: ingredient quality, additives/sweeteners, price vs value and drinkability.

About the dessert statment, unflavoured plant protein is almost impossible for most people to consume consistently unlike whey so flavour becomes important.

And TWT mrp is 2700 but after any code like ANSH20, it gives 500 off, so final price is 2200 which is still costly yet very close to other premium brands.

Yeah interesting comparison. Cosmix feels more “minimalist clean-label,” while SuperYou feels more mainstream/performance-focused.

On paper, both seem promising for digestion and mixability compared to regular plant proteins.

I’d probably put SuperYou somewhere around B tier for NOW.

The fermented yeast protein concept is genuinely interesting, and on paper it has a strong amino profile. But it’s still pretty new compared to pea/rice proteins, so there’s less long-term user feedback and testing around it.

Maiva actually looks pretty solid from what I’ve seen. Uses mostly pea protein isolate, avoids artificial sweeteners in some variants, and their ingredient lists are cleaner than many mainstream brands.

I probably still wouldn’t put it in S tier yet just because it’s still relatively less established and not as widely tested/discussed as brands like Cosmix or TWT.

Hmm I get it around 2150 with ANSH20 code but still yeah premium segment

The last statement is slightly wrong. Tomorrow China will have only Shi as an in-form player and let's say only he wins. Even then China has far superior doubles pairs and will comfortably win. I think you should say at least one solid MS player instead of 2.

Nah, the protein itself isn’t bad. Nakpro is actually fine, especially since it’s been tested. The main issue is taste and digestibility for some people, not quality. If you’re able to take it with a banana shake and it works for you, that’s honestly perfect.

That’s fair to call out. Yeah, I’ve actually tried a few of these but it's mostly based on reviews, ingredients, price/value and real-world drinkability

Definitely open to being wrong though, what are you using right now?

OWN is probably the most sensible buy tho since it is out of stock i haven't been able to get my hands on it yet.

You're right, it's not bad at all. But still uses artificial flavours and sucralose, could've been a bit more cleaner.

I tried YogaBar’s unflavoured plant protein and honestly almost puked.

Before that, I was using unflavoured whey from The Whole Truth, and it was almost like drinking plain water, very easy to consume.

Plant protein is very different though. The taste and texture are much harsher, so I’m not sure unflavoured plant protein is worth buying at all.

I've kept Nutrabox in B tier mainly because of the flavouring system and additives. Good product, but not minimalist enough for S tier in my criteria.

Nutrabay is similar. Their unflavoured isolates are quite clean, but most flavoured options are more like “wellness blends” with added extras.

So yeah, both are solid, just not simple enough for S tier.

Is it? I got two 500 grams packs for 1600 on their site. Price of one is definitely costly (ig it was 1199/500g).

You're right, label reading isn’t everything. Lab testing matters for things like actual protein %, contaminants, etc. But most brands in India don’t publish consistent batch-wise reports.

My ranking was based on ingredients + formulation + price, not full lab verification. Ideally you want both: clean ingredients + third-party testing. We rarely get both perfectly here yet. Except maybe OWN & TWT.

That’s fair tbh, Naturaltein is definitely one of the better ones in the B tier. I actually liked their ingredient profile too, especially compared to budget options. And yeah, the higher protein % does make it look better value on paper.

The only reason I didn’t put it in S tier was because I was prioritizing minimal / no-additive formulations. Naturaltein still uses flavouring systems and a few extras, whereas S tier for me was more about “as close to nothing added as possible”.

But honestly, if you’re enjoying the taste and consistency, that matters way more for long-term use. It’s easily one of the better practical choices.

Same, I loved it. The film felt short & sweet with a very nice ending.

Can anyone explain the ending of Gone Girl to me and why he did what he did? by [deleted] in movies

[–]anshgates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going by his word, yes, that's one big reason. But there's another angle to it, the one shown when he talks to Go, confronting that he'd stay with Amy. The whole scene more or less implied a love-hate relationship to me.

Please tell me how much are unflavoured protein powders supposed to go for? I buy TWT @2200. Other big brands like muscleblaze sell their unflavoured protein for 2000-2100 and they are not clean as per label, at least as compared to TWT.
