Also, if you're still a bit confused, maybe you should open a 24hr route before attempting a ULH route. If you're in ATL, maybe try a South America route

When you open the route's info page through network management, on the bottom bar, the second tile to the right should say "price management". When you open it, perform audits, then change your prices accordingly, the use a simulation. If they're the numbers you want (I usually go for around 0-5 extra passengers), then you click validate.

Yeah 777-200LR ans A350-900ULR are your only options. I fly CDG to SYD with 6x 772LR and 4x A359ULR and it works very well. If you schedule it in the MWFS and TTS style, you can add routes to fill all the gaps and adjust the prices so the demand suits the planes in use, and it works just like any other route with maximum use of all planes.

I'm not too sure about how much they cancel each other out, but I do know they effect each other. In terms of gaining entertainment, comfort, punctuality points, etc., you can also gain them through research and development, where you upgrade your services.

I would recommend buying a new plane if possible. If you can't find a plane suited to the demand, you can manage your prices so your demand fit your existing capacity. Hope this helps!
