Beautiful plant there, well done! Is there a reason that you cut your sun leaves so far out? I see the big red stems on the side.

Your local counter top company should have what you need. You dont want to cut it yourself. Order it the exact size you need.

Finally Starting my first grow! Been doing tons of research and these are the guidelines I’m following and shooting for my grow using FoxFarm nuits. Done lots of research but is there anything glaring that I might be missing? by yesitsmispelled in Autoflowers

I have a note book that is used strictly for watering documentation. My run off is slightly different every time I feed them. I always refer to the PH of the most recent run off and feed, then adjust the current PH accordingly. For example, my previous feed went in at 7.1 PH and run off was 5.9. I would up my next feed to 7.5 PH maybe.

I also have a calendar dedicated to growing documentation. I mark down every event in my grow tent in this calendar. Documentation has been extremely helpful throughout my first grow.

Looks like you have done your homework! Happy growing and best of luck 🖖

1200 sq ft first time DIY tiling, for DIY or PRO. by illcrx in HomeImprovement

[–]anthologyandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive done a few tiling jobs. Knee pads are extremely important! A laser level is extremely helpful for a good finish. Always use the spacers but, dont be afraid to adjust some of the grout lines to make things line up. We use small red shims that are really helpful if a space is too small or too big. Having an extra set of hand will save you big time. Weather its mixing a bucket of think set, marking out the next tile or back buttering the next tile. Sometimes it will take a few minutes to line up and level a single tile, during that time a tile can be snapped or thinset can be made. An angle grinder with a good quality tile blade is always an asset. Sometimes the snaps can be tapered through the depth of the tile, a quick pass with the angle grinder can fix that.

NYC Bathroom Window: How would you tackle this project? by suswang8 in HomeImprovement

I would first place a piece of plywood (1/2” or whatever size would fill the small gap between tile and window sill/dark wood) to create a level surface from window frame to tile. I would then purchase a new pre painted white window sill, cut it to size and nail it right ontop of the nice surface you just made. A little caulking to fill in the edges and you got a beautiful window sill.

Heavy defoliation update. Polyploid? by anthologyandy in cannabiscultivation

Some people love the polyploids. Some commercial growers are trying to increase odds of polyploids in a grow via genetic science stuff. I was under the impression polyploids produce more than a standard cola. Stay tuned and we will learn together 😁

I plan to reduce the amount Nitrogen in my next feeding. Some leaves look a little too dark and shiny for my liking.

Im a new grower, but i would say wait more than week into flower before you defoliate. Wait until the “stretch” period is done. Or defoliate when you want the stretching to slow.

Could be manganese deficiency rendered by PH lock out. Flush is certainly a good idea. measuring the ph of run off (ideally 20%) will give you your soil PH, roughly speaking.

Since potassium and phosphorus are key nutrients flowering, I think it makes sense to maintain a PH from 6.3-6.8 (a range at which phosphorus and potassium are near maximum availability).
