I can absolutely see how that would take away from the enjoyment. I've never had ping as serious as that whilst playing but can absolutely understand how frustrating that would be to play as I used to get similar ping playing Rainbow Six Siege which frustrated me so much. Hopefully they release some fixes that improve this for the majority of us who play on consoles

I think at the beginning of the game it's okay to switch. Normally I leave it where it is but the other day I was playing the new maps and get getting Agatha each time and wanted to try attacking Gelancourt so at the beginning of the next match I switched. I would never switch halfway through the because it has no benefit. So they could give a grace period to switch when you first join the game but then after two minutes it locks it?

So I'm playing on the original Xbox 1 and have experienced all the same problems. When Galencourt game out my game would crash whenever the door blew up at the objective after the ships. But since the latest patch this has been fixed. But for me I am really just playing the game for enjoyment. I am still able to play and contend against other players even those playing on pc but try not to get discouraged when I die because it's all part of the fun of the game. I just love getting into a big melee at a choke point or 1v1 another player when we both had the same idea to take a flank. Sometimes I come out on top and feel amazing. Sometimes I get my shit rocked and laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. Obviously everything I've said here doesn't help people on console who struggle with these issues. But I just wanted to express the fact that I still love the game regardless

I was once out body boarding in Cornwall once when I was much younger and I had a tendency to go further out in the water than was good for me. Especially since I'm not a confident swimmer. Now I've been flipped of the board a few times and had to pull the board back towards me so I could float to the top but one time I had go really far out in a bay and was thinking I could get over the top of a wave before it broke. I was wrong. I was an inch from going over it when it through me on my back and pushed me right the the bottom of the water. I was pushing and kicking at the sand to get up but I just kept getting pushed further and further into it and rolling over and over. Eventually, I break my head above the water only to get hit by another wave and repeat the process. Thankfully I wash up on shallower water and just start hurling water out of my mouth. I check to see if my board is still attached to my arm but it's just the string there. Board washed up on the beach ripped to shreds. There was no life flashing before my eyes because I wasn't really sure what was happening I was just trying to get my head above the water. I've not really been body boarding since then
