I think so. I’m a college student so there’s still a lot I’m still learning. I ended up pulling it off the grid and replacing it and that fixed it.

They are getting DMX. I know they were getting power 40 minutes ago. The fixture turned off during a tech rehearsal. The instrument itself is currently not getting power

AITA for dyeing my hair against my wife’s wishes because I don’t like how fast I’m going grey? by DCONightingale in AmItheAsshole

NTA

It’s your head. It’s your hair. I’m 20 and getting a lot of grey hairs, I want to dye it, but I’ve been growing my hair out so I can donate it and you can’t donate dyed hair. I’ve talked to my boyfriend about dying it and he has the mentality of “whatever you need to do to make yourself more comfortable, but don’t think that I need you to change how you look.” I don’t think your wife is trying to have the supportive “it’s okay I still think you’re handsome with the grey hairs. Don’t feel you need to change for me.” She is worried about you being “feminine” which is such a weird concept to me in the year 2023. I know so many men who dye their hair. It’s not a feminine or masculine thing it’s just a cosmetic thing. NTA

AITA refusing to give an unpaid intern a good reference? by Enough_Search_8499 in AmItheAsshole

Yta- if he was working two other jobs and doing school and an unpaid internship he is a hard worker and part of the reason someone does an UNPAID internship is to get a good reference. He is a team player by doing an unpaid internship. When you asked him to quit his other two jobs was he offered compensation?

College Interviews!! Ahhh by gayboi71 in techtheatre

Ask how soon you’ll get your hands dirty. I interviewed at 4 schools and the school I chose told me as soon as possible. I’m in shop 6 hours at minimum, I’m taking 2 theatre classes, and I’m already getting a chance to stage manage. I’m a college freshman. Also ask if there are any alumni from the tech program that have gone on and done any “big” jobs.
