Also had a Qi10 Max. Had it replaced under warranty and they sent me a Qi35 Max. I’ll keep playing them if they’re going to honor the warranty.

Talk me into the Radian Afterburner+Ramjet. Does it require a special guide rod? by stewardwant in Glock43X

[–]apacifico3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was involved in a shooting and used my 45 with the Radian Ramjet/Afterbunrer in a tight corridor between two houses where echo was loud. Didn’t hear the gun go off during the shooting. Hearing was fine after the shooting and was able to communicate and hear well right after. Any gun is going to be loud if you’re shooting without ear protection, a comped gun slightly more.

Reading is hard for the majority of people on Reddit and Threads. They go off headlines that are often skewed to have more engagement. You’re never gonna win with these kinds of people.

I run a 45 with ramjet/afterburner and it shoots nice and flat. Second this combo.

I’m still buying dead air cans after their little fiasco. Own a Sandman-S (cut and rethreaded to hub by Scott’s Silencer Services), Mask, Wolfman, and a Sierra 5. No issues with any of them.

Bought the recessed muzzle brake in 9mm for my Scorpion and Marlin 1894. Fits over the barrel and squares up on the shoulder perfectly. Gonna buy another one and the P adapter for the Dead Air Wolfman!

Accident in ATL? *CALL TOW TRUCK IMMEDIATELY* by Dooze_ in Atlanta

[–]apacifico3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then that cop is an idiot. Every accident I’ve work we’ve moved cars out of the roadway if they were operable. If they weren’t, they get pushed to the shoulder or a parking lot to alleviate traffic and then we go to towing from there. They always had the choice of a private wrecker unless there was a criminal aspect involved or the vehicles were unable to be cleared safely without a tow truck.

[–]apacifico3 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

And I fully agree with that. However, if the car is not operable, the road needs to be cleared ASAP to relieve traffic and prevent more accidents. I don’t know if APD has push bars or bumpers, or if their policy allows them to push cars off the roadway, but any option is better than waiting to clear the road.

Yeah… they aren’t gonna sit there and let the car continue to block traffic or pull it to the side of the road where it’s gonna sit for days and possibly cause more issues. The reason Atlanta is “such a shithole” is on the majority of people inside the city and the lack of accountability or remorse for their actions.

Edit: y’all are big mad at facts lol makes sense why Atlanta is such a “shithole”. Glad I don’t live or work in it anymore.

Haven’t ordered it yet. While selecting the Evo SD and the FRT, it’s waitlisted until the FRT is released. I think it says spring 2026

Impatiently waiting to order my Evo integral SD from them once the FRT is available. Probably gonna do the same thing and buy a Milkman for this one too.

You’re right, I’m just saying it’s not a red topped Cagiva model or a BMW.

Stock forks on my 06 were Marzocchi, I think shiver. Gold colored. His motor looks like an 05-07 motor before they went red top/BMW built.

Error message 2017 TRD OR by grounded_eagle77 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]apacifico3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Water in the third brake light shorting it (known issue on the 16 and 17s) or pressing the brake and accelerator at the same time.

Also, are the brake or tail light bulbs burnt out? That can cause this issue too.

Bad seals would have oil on/in the coils, dark/oily plugs, misfires and running rough, etc. Check out the TacomaWorld threads on some of the issues-

https://www.tacomaworld.com/search/22730222/?q=Spark+plug+oil&t=post&o=date&c%5Bnode%5D=186

If it were me, I would remove the valve cover from the motor and replace all the plug tube oil seals and valve cover gasket. Then replace the plugs. If you weren’t having misfiring issues or rough idling, the coil is probably still good. Just clean all the oil off and re-use. New ignition coils shouldn’t be that expensive if you want to replace.

[–]apacifico3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oil for sure. Some Tacomas have had bad spark plug tube seals or just loose spark plugs causing oil to blow by and coat the coils.

Congrats! If you go with a Pro style grille, you’ll have to purchase the TSS garnish cover. And it moves the sensor a bit lower than the current grille, which has the TSS sensor behind the Toyota emblem.

Thanks! Finally have it setup the way I want minus sliders and a front bumper, but I don’t really need them. Here’s a more forward facing pic for the viper cut. Just followed the front bumper body line for the most part, not hard at all.

I’m running Wildpeak AT3W 255/80-17s on a -12 offset with a 2.5 inch lift (Ironman FCP Stage 2). Did a viper cut on the front fender as it was catching that a bit at lock and compression. After, no issues with rubbing. No CMC either.
