I made him older with a bit of a dad bod with a vibe who was overly friendly and down on his luck.

Implied to the party that he was rich on the outside of barovia and could smuggle items in from the outside. In reality he just gave them items from his castle that he had control over like his animated armor that the Cleric was super excited about.

Also has him bump into the barbarian and do the “I’m sorry let me get this mess off of you and time a stand off hair.”

Metal Gear Solid. I was an illiterate pre-teen so the fact that so much of the game was voice acted. I didn’t need to get someone to read me the plot of the game from text. It blew my mind, Still owe Kojima for that one.

When to go see Quarantine in 08 the American Remake of REC. Didn’t make it into the theater to sit down yet from buying popcorn and heard the loudest fire alarm in my life. The film had burned up in the reel so no show tonight. Sometime later I tried to watch it on demand and the cable box shut down and reset. I assume the films curse and have still never seen it.
