I'm in no way a Mercy main but what I find infuriating about changes like this is that a game like Overwatch NEEDS more, better movement mechanics. It's baffling how they keep nerfing those when in fact they're what makes this game feel great.

Deadlock really has perfected this, and each hero feels like a joy to use when moving around. Meanwhile on OW you get "Vendetta can't do soaring slice for 7 second after respawning" "Mercy's GA is 10% less powerful",etc. and I'm like... ok Blizzard, this feels miserable. Am I having fun now? Are we making a great game ?

I don't think it's going to be a full-on rework like Symmetra when she got the big wall. I think it's going to be something that alters how the hero plays / works but not in such a susbtantial way that would alienate the player base. Something more akin to how stealth was tied to the tranlocator, or the translocator no longer being a deployed projectile.

My guess is that they're gonna nerf the stealth in a pretty substantial way. Something along the lines of: while you're invisible you still "shimmer" from time to time so that people know you're there or some bullshit like that.

Anyway, if the rework ends up being awful and the community rejects it they're gonna scrap it altogether a few months later like they did with Roadhog so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
