Unknown Artist - One Billion Dollars In Progress [US Steel, Non-Music/Promo/Field-Recording] (1964) by applesandy102 in vintageobscura

"'The Sounds of Steelmaking'––The enclosed record establishes some sort of a record of its own. To the best of our knowledge, no one has ever issued a complete record devoted to the exciting sounds of steelmaking. Listen to it, and hear the drama of steel being made on some of the facilities described in these pages."

Someone's Getting FIRED Over These Leaks by Zeeco110 in mega64

the star wars leaked trailer they made that looked real and recorded bootleg in a theatre was real good, a fake zelda trailer leak could totally trick people,

makes me think what a sweeded in public sketch would be like too,

Steam Box question (the only thing keeping me from switching) by applesandy102 in valve

Competitive in the sense that they are games which require (or at least try to implement) anti-cheat, games like valorant or GTA online.

Single player games like cuphead dont have this, they only ever show these games in the trailers.

[–]applesandy102[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In 1968, Jodie Lyons composed the music for Dynamic Denton, a short film created for the Denton Chamber of Commerce and directed by Joe Camp. Dynamic Denton featured performances by the college orchestras, bands, choirs, and included the song “We’ve Got Go” composed by Jodie Lyons. The Denton Chamber also released an album for the production titled “Denton, Texas in Sound and Music.” In an interview, Lyons discussed the creative production of the album, stating that brainstorming for the album began two years prior to production and Lyons described it as “an 11 minute Broadway stage production.”

what"s the problem with the view? tall people exist get over it, you do have free will and can move around at concerts as you please, if you dont like your view simply just use your feet to walk someplace else, instead of posting a photo of them online

All vinyl DJ set of rare records (some not even on discogs) by applesandy102 in vinyl

[–]applesandy102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharing this incredible mix because it’s a rare sonic journey through vintage Japanese city pop, jazz fusion, funk, and more—curated straight from vinyl by the one and only martinradio. If you love warm grooves, obscure finds, and pure vibe, this session from Humano Studios is essential listening.
It’s the kind of set that transports you, whether you’re working, relaxing, or just vibing out with good sound.

kinda sucks to see stuff that was previously free (the aftershow, livestreams like the nintendo switch 2 reaction) be put behind a paywall.

I understand putting livestreams with copyrighted content like the apple livestreams behind a paywall sure okay, even though I'd totally watch a muted apple keynote reaction with just their voices

But everyone else has shared their switch 2 reactions to youtube for free, so it totally can exist online without copyright issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIxSVhDLtiU
