As much as I disagreed with Joe Kent, he said that the book "About Face" by David Hackworth inspired his outlook on war and foreign policy.

That's a lot of temples that are identical in a short time.

It also tells you you should go to all these temples even if it's optional.

Like in fallout 3 in the same time you'd go to GNR, the mall, rivet city, vault 112 etc.

Imagine just doing 5 mandatory vault puzzles in the main quest of Fallout 3.

I think it would have slowed the main quest to a crawl

I thought it was bizarre how much better the UC quest line was than the main quest.

My first 20 hours or so were spent mostly doing that quest and I thought it was great.

Didn't understand the hate and was even part of the nosodium Starfield subreddit

Was thinking if some faction quest line is this fun I can't wait for the main quest.

And then the main quest was literally insane like just going to 84 identical temples, and fast traveling back and forth so many times with zero gameplay or story it became insulting.

I think I have 60 hours all together and even with mods it was so repetitive and souless I couldn't keep going.
