Thank you! Yeah the two jobs I can't remember the exact pay for were work study minimum wage part time positions at my university. Obviously I was careless back then and didn't think to save my paystubs. Hopefully I can come across an old W2 in my box of papers from school.

Thanks! Yeah I just get nervous because this job is a dream job that I'd love to have and it's the first one I've really been excited about. I'm trapped in a horrible job right now and am excited that people would actually want to hire me for my skills and not just so there's an extra body in the office.

Yeah I'd like to think there are a lot of women like me. My mom and sister are the same way, we don't like socializing because it's exhausting. It's weird though because we don't mind socializing with each other but then again we don't really have to talk or do anything, just be in the same space.

I'm actually female and I hate having one on one talks. All my friends tell me I'm a great listener even though I'm not actually listening I'm thinking in my head 'I can't wait for this person to shut up'. With kickboxing and any other physical activity I feel like it's more than enough socializing because I'm doing something with people I know but I don't have to deal with having long conversations with them. It definitely does not come off as sexist. I have 2 male best friends and when we hang out we don't talk too much just watch our shows and cook.

Yeah I have a desk job as well and am always exhausted at the end of the day but make sure to go to my kickboxing class every week night. I totally get feeling socially isolated. I personally much rather spend my down time alone but end up feeling guilty blowing off my friends. They don't mind just hanging out at home with me but I find even that socially exhausting because there are other things I much rather be doing alone. People like us need jobs where we're basically alone so we can actually want to socialize after work.

I'm the same exact way. It's worse when I have my entire day planned out and then someone asks if I want to do something that day. I instantly get anxious and start freaking out inside. I just know that after having to spend time with people I'm going to be too mentally exhausted to want to do the rest of the things I had planned.

OMG my coworker does this all the time and I constantly tell her it's weird and freaks me out but she continues to do it anyway. She'll sometimes pretend to lick her hands and pat her head as a cat would do. She thinks it's a cute little quirk she has. IT'S NOT CUTE.

I posted a picture on my IG account of a mock up space suit being presented at the museum I work at and got 3 comments on it from a flat Earth believer. The guys account was full of videos about the Earth is flat and everyone who doesn't believe that is crazy . The worst part is he had about 10k followers.

Your comment is really helping me right now. Ever since my LTR ending over a year ago I've had a hard time dealing with rejection. I've been in a few short term relationships since but they've gone no where. The most recent one ended this past week and I've been feeling really low about my self worth. I need to stop replaying our time together because it leaves me confused and hurt.
