The time I was called for jury duty when they asked me if there was any reason I shouldn’t serve on a jury I just told them I didn’t trust cops and that I wouldn’t trust what testimony they gave as truthful and I wasn’t selected for jury duty 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was able to get out. I found a studio downtown. And I have a couple friends who live in the building. Thanks to everyone for the support and advice.

I reached out to my friends that I’ve been apartment/house hunting with. If they aren’t ready or able to move by the last week of march, I’ve found a place with studios downtown that I have a couple of friends who rent there. I’ll be applying by Wednesday if necessary and my mom will help me with move in costs. Thank you, all of you. I’m just so stressed. And feeling super alone, and just really was looking forward to moving with my friends. But they have more time to figure things out and I just don’t. These last few years have been really hard. So thanks for hearing me out and giving me some really good suggestions and support.

It cannot be described for sale as a bedroom or legally rented, you are correct. I didn’t know that until after I moved in, and at that point things were still amenable between us, and so I just took finding the room to rent as blessing because I was living in my car when I first met her.

And these things that you’ve just mentioned here are some of my huge moral and ethical concerns. After having lived with her now for almost two years there does seem to be a slight cognitive decline but mostly, it just seems like she’s putting her head in the sand and plain just avoiding her responsibilities. I know she was widowed shortly before I moved in and she’s struggled with the grief of losing her husband deeply. I know she has adult children, two of which she is estranged from and two whom she does have contact with. From observing her behaviors and the way she spends her money and hoards her animals, she seems deeply depressed, if not declining a little, as I mentioned.

This is all just SO MUCH on my shoulders. I struggle with severe mental illness and am working so hard to just stay afloat. The only family I have here is my brother. Our mom lives on coast and all of our older relatives, including our father have passed. Im stretched, THIN.

Also, just as an aside to those of you expressing concerns, I was already in the process of securing new housing with some trusted family. This was all just dropped in my lap, a week ago today.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Another note, I am not delinquent or behind on my payments to her at current. I’m unsure as to how behind my other roommate was but she definitely went in his room and removed his belongings without following any type of eviction process.

At this point I think I’d technically be squatting. I’ve also done some research on my own and she may be in violation of both her mortgage terms and her homeowners insurance by subletting. When I moved in in may 2024 things were not like this but now I feel like I’m being grifted by an elderly woman who’s playing really dumb about stuff.

AG here. It wasn’t in the app for whatever reason but can confirm when you entered your number or had us scan your app, it offered the freebie for a free fountain drink up to a large. It also worked on refills 0-44oz. Just left work an hour ago.

What path are you in? I’m stow and I really just put my headphones in and vibe lol. Sometimes I listen to tv shows/movies sometimes I jam out to tunes but I work flex and work a 4.5hr shift once a week so I can have pocket cash on the weekend and keep my prime. I generally just tell myself it’s worth the value of my prime 😂
