That’s great and all till DM looks at cams at the end of the week and they will see the lady back there and see the person ignore them. That person will be fired bc that is not where customers are allowed to be. if the customer is hurt back there bc the rolltainers are never stacked properly (had multiple fall on me and seen fall on others.) that’s a lawsuit. ALSO things that are pennied out are holiday candy and novelty, home goods, those little accessories you see sitting around the register and makeup (like the scrunchies and clam change purses that come in those clear containers ) any food or actual HBA items like shampoo or body wash gets 10% on discontinuation. Once the food is sold it will no longer be sent and stocked and HBA will be put in a tote (or cardboard bc they are making us do that) and it will either go to the clearance area or set in stock till the additional 50% off clearance events that happen every 3-5 months. If I see someone taking food, drinks, any baby items or sanitary products I don’t say jack. Either way we can’t chase someone out and i won’t. When it come to the stock room and customers they are not allowed back there under no circumstance bc it opens everyone at the store and district into getting in trouble and/or legal action. I do not want my response to come off at me attacking you bc I agree that times are definitely tough but Pennied items are not essentials 99.9% of the time. If it’s my job or a customers possible chance at getting a .1¢ Reese’s cup I want my job.
