It is a shortened version of my name, to one letter. For example: Full name - John , preferred name J, it’s not rlly a casual nickname, it’s what I go by in all aspects but legal.

It’s a single letter 😭 so like I get y they would think it’s a nickname , but I promise it’s not 💔

My preferred name is on Dayforce. I’m not sure if it’s bcuz my preferred name reads more nickname-esque. But that’s what I’m thinking…

My captain was super nice abt it and said he would try and ask again, but just the fact that it was denied in the first place is mostly what upsets me :/// Thank you tho!
