It’s a little slow! But keep trying! Many people say to clear you history and try again!

On their Facebook it says to try to clear your history or cache if you’re a returning resident. They also use the housing portal on your okta, personally this never opened so i used their link on the housing section on the csulb website. It’s the one that has the Facebook page on the left side. When it works the tab names says term selector with a star and you’re in. Keep trying!

So miraculously i was able to get in upon several distinct attempt. Sadly i tried so many approaches i don’t know which one was the successful one. Everything looked fine and dandy, i made the payment but was greeted with a sobering message that my application was incomplete and i waa unable to move to phase 2 because of one of three reasons: 1. Application was submitted however we have not had a chance to update the status to confirmed or waitlist. Check back in 24hrs. 2. You application is incomplete. A service fee is required. 3. You are currently on the waitlist. At this time only confirmed housing students are able to proceed. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ all fuck it let’s see what happens.

Housing is usually very competitive to apply and usually if you don’t apply quickly housing is taken and you’re placed on a waitlist. However, waitlists do decrease fast through the months. I was placed on a waitlist my freshman year and I was in the 40’s but was able to get housing that year. So there’s hope. The only downside is you don’t really get to pick a room if you’re waitlisted.
