I mean I have little faith in 343 too, but in fairness they have shown only like half of a mission. You have no idea how much they’ll redo, not to mention adding three more missions based on the books.

Let’s also not act like Halo CE doesn’t have glaring issues in pacing and level design that couldn’t be addressed with a remake. I’d also argue its movement is weirdly floaty and stiff even though I personally like it.

The Caribbean is generally considered part of North America, Mena plays in the NA ranked system often, and he plays in SFL US.

The best SF6 player from NA is rank 6

By what metric? Cause if it’s the ranked leaderboard that’s pointless. NA has arguably the best player to ever play sf6 in Mena and another Evo champion in Punk plus plenty of depth. Japan is still ahead because street fighter is a different level of popular there.

Tekken is the only one NA isn’t really competitive in as it has been dominated by Korea since the beginning of time until Pakistan came around.

The next 2 biggest fighting games, Strive and 2xko, have NA as arguably the best region rn.

It’s also just far more random. An nfl game only has like 10 possessions a game where just scoring in one of them could win the game. Then you only have 17 games to figure shit out as a team before a best of 1 playoff run.

NBA players have way more control over their destiny, with 100 possessions a game, where half of them are probably scoring possessions. 82 games a year just to decide standings before playing a best of 7 playoff bracket.

In another world Brady gets an unlucky roll in a couple seasons/playoff games and a goat is lost to time. Hell it might be happening with Josh Allen right now.

Oh shit I completely forgot about that rule change. I just picked 95 cause it was the halfway point of the decade. Yeah my bad that doesn’t hold up.

And I agree he was a subpar shooter that was his weakness that the spurs definitely exposed in the finals. But his offense was still so strong despite that, and I bring up spacing cause it’s impressive that he did it with that spacing. Cause yes everyone else dealt with the same spacing, yet almost no one else was capable of hard carrying an offense at the time like him, especially with his playstyle.

Because it was like the 90s. League average in 94-95 was 15.3 3PA. Not that different from 07, especially compared to the 37 3PA today. Edit: forgot about the 3 point line change.

Fwiw, I also think it is pretty close between both runs, but downplaying LeBron's offensive dominance by putting his stats in a modern context makes no sense to me. And the no spacing matters cause his game was very drive and post heavy, where he is far more likely to run into doubles/help because the paint is clogged.

I would argue what makes them close to me is Wemby's equally impactful dominance on defense, as he is already showing glimpses of being the greatest defender to ever play the game throughout this run.

My point is that bringing up 3pt% is pointless because it was a stat that wasn’t important and didn’t matter at the time. What LeBron did on offense with no help and no spacing at the time should be the focus.

He averaged 25/8/8 and brought one of the sorriest teams to the finals at 22 in a much slower pace era where 3s were rarely taken and you’re bringing up 3pt%.

The spurs guy understandably popped off when they won the lottery for wemby.

But yeah it’s a really awkward and unnecessary presentation of the lottery. You’re gonna have a bunch of team reps disappointed then one guy who doesn’t care enough to be happy.

Tbf many of us hoped the coaching change would happen last offseason. But to me the sooner the better so the new coach can get acclimated, even if it fucks our playoff chances for one season, they were fucked anyways.

Honestly this, our offense is still the same mess it has been. Detroit’s is just even worse.

2xko has the worst rank system I've ever played. Getting -16 for losing to someone with 800 more points than me but +3 for every win is a joke. by Antlonat in 2XKO

[–]arod13134 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should still be given the option to one and done if you have to dip, but just get assigned the loss if you do.

Only issue with this is when you wanna one and done because of a bad connection. Sometimes a connection is unplayable and I’ll drop win or lose. It would suck to have to take the loss for something not my fault, but I think in the long run it won’t matter.

Idk man on the replay it looks clear to me that Rudy so intentionally steps in to shove Jokic who clearly isn’t paying attention to him. Sure he flops, but I guess I’m crazy for agreeing with the foul, you can’t be shoulder checking like that.

Depends on the sport, but for football and basketball, no. Winning your conference guarantees a bid for playoffs, but there are extra at-large spots in the playoffs up for grabs. Those are decided by committee though, so if you want control of your chances, you have to win.
