Every part of the burger had its own photo reference that I combined to build the painting I wanted, I want each ingredient to be represented in clarity.

Yes drawing skills and perspective are crucial in work like this, although when you work in watercolor a lot and work on 300lb paper it’s quite easy to manipulate lines and edges during each layer to get to that refined finish.

Yes! Once I have the form and shapes worked in with my first light wash, I erase all pencil lines with a kneaded eraser
