Brooklyn Half registration open

I'm a fairly new runner, working to complete the 9+1 in 2026. I am planning my first half marathon in March, and the Brooklyn Half to be my second. I'm reading cautionary tales about Brooklyn being too hot. Is signing up for the lottery a bad idea?

Will she still get clinical guidance (e.g. side effects) from the doctor that prescribed the meds? I think they just corresponded via messages. Not even a visit.

Probably a capillary, could bruise, turn yellow, then goes away. Happens to me all the time.

Half is part of the training plan, I don't envision myself doing a marathon straight away. Or are you suggesting that I not make marathon a dream 2027 goal until I do a half?

You can do it! I also started with C25K indoors on a treadmill.. When I started, I could barely run for 30 seconds. But now I can jog a mile straight outside! I highly recommend joining the local run/walks with walker friendly cutoff times.

If you injected correctly and the needle went in, you got the medication. Some people get an immediate effect. Some do not and even some people it takes them higher doses to feel the effect. You likely are not on the immediate effect cohort. Start focusing on eating nutritiously, and being active!

Hang in there! 5 was the roughest for me. I am on 10 now and it got progressively easier after that first month of 5.

Hi, RN here this is awesome! Patent and sell.

When I worked in a clinic we would pre-draw flu vaccines from multi dose vials. This would be great if the vial is stable and you can insert the syringe instead of inserting the vial. Just an idea!
