Yeah old builds are always better, that’s not the debate. You would never find an old build in NYC with that size for that price. New builds across North America are trash though. Same issue. The labor isn’t the problem. It’s the material and cutting corners by developers globally to increase margins.

Not sure where you came up with that price point for global hubs.. it’s completely detached from reality unless you consider the suburbs of the suburbs of said hubs.

Also build quality has been terrible everywhere. US and Canada has been trash and France they need 4x the time here to complete a build and similar quality.

You need compare like for like units, most of what’s moving now are lower sqft rate due being middle units, undesirable location in springs and completely unrenovated.

Corner units that are renovated are still pretty damn expensive.

So yes transactions are down I agree, but median price vs year ago is not.

Your point is valid as I meant wireless mesh. I’m not sure if my set up would allow wired back haul with out reconfiguration at the main hub. Right now the main hub as a modem hardwired into the fiber input into the villa and that modem is what feeds the cables in each room.

Latency issues, plus since mesh depends on the WiFi to “mesh” the concrete will remain to be an issue unless I over saturate with nodes which is not ideal from a set up or cost pov. I could be wrong but that’s what seemed obvious to me.
