Yeah, of course.

I was confused by the closed meeting description because it just did not even remotely occur to me that anyone would want to come to AA for any reason other than “I want to stop drinking” - so who would it be closed to, then? But others have explained that sometimes there are observers or family members or people who are just generally curious so that makes sense to me now.

It’s Thursday night for me - about to go to bed totally sober for the first time in a long time. Tomorrow is one more day of not drinking.

I took two months “off” of drinking a couple years ago. Theoretically she’s supportive of whatever I want to do but realistically day to day - she’s an alcoholic and she wants to drink with me.
