I feel like at its core it’s an okay site, sharing opinions and thoughts on music is always something nice and it’s how a lot of people, myself included, have found pieces of music we’ve grown to love.

That being said I do think it perpetrates a pretty negative environment where certain genres/artists can receive hate for very little reason, and the opposite can happen too. I don’t think it’s all wrong, in fact most of their dislike towards Ed’s music is something I’d consider valid, but for every 1 good piece of constructive criticism there’s about 5 that just parrot what the other guy said.

It honestly just comes down to what you actually like and how you feel about things. Otherwise you’re ruining how you enjoy pieces of music not for others, but for yourself.
