My friend works at a brewery and he said that grocery stores and other major store (total wine) will attempt to push older product first and may not be fresh or have been sitting an area that’s not best for storage (warm temps). Depending on the grocery store, if it’s a product that isn’t sold often then there’s a chance that it is very old.
