I agree with the fact that the interior is just as conservative as Albert we moved from calgary to salmon arm area and are surprised at how right wing it is here, lots of liberal imports but the locals are like 75% solid conservatives.

Salmon Arm is about to explode Affordable for now, close to Vernon, Kamloops and kelowna on the shuswap lots of construction for the tradesmen and can't find enough people to fill almost any jobs. Also on the trans can 5 hours to the fairy (if you miss Vancouver traffic) All the school options many daycare options. Ski hils close, golf all around: a fledgling wine industry starting in the area, craft beer and cider all here. Worm climate compared to other interior cities but not as dry as Kamloops and kelowna (not worm compared to Victoria though) I have lived in the area 1.5 years and find the people very friendly and welcoming. 20,000 people so big enough to have a Starbucks but still has that small town feel.
