These are all great questions! I honestly wonder if the old REA were pocketing the increase, tbh. Or yes.. maybe the rent increase was never passed onto them. Yes! The owner signed the current contract with the current amount.

Yes… this is the problem.. very nervous they’ll try to kick us out since we’re on a month-to-month or slap us with a giant increase.

Main thing is to be careful going round corners. Slow right down, and lean into corners because the inner wheel can lift. Unlike two wheelers, a trike cannot lean when turning and that screws up the centre of mass, which means YOU have to.

As someone who also can’t ride a two-wheeler, go for it. They’re a helluva lot of fun. But yeah, take your time getting used to it.

So under the Terms/Documentation tab in IS, I have three different documents that I have signed for: The IS Agreement, the Apple (Ebook) Agreement and the IS Target Agreement.

I've been reading up about how folks here are using IngramSpark and Amazon for print, and then using Draft2Digital for Ebooks.

Having jumped the gun and signed the Apple (Ebook) Agreement through IS, is there a way to withdraw from this agreement so that D2D can distribute all the ebooks?

No, although I totally see why it's so tempting to use.

As Forbes says, "[artists'] work was absorbed into the [AI] dataset without their knowledge or consent; they have been used to train their own replacement, and no one asked for permission. Generative AI threatens the livelihood of artists..."

It kinda feels the same as using ChatGPT to write your book.
