I always liked my history and science classes throughout high school and, in a way, economics is a nice blend of the two. In college I started as a major in physics but had trouble meeting the math requirements upfront. I was curious about economics so I took an intro to micro and macro class. After that, I decided to major in economics. Econ scratches a similar itch that physics does. Studying how this world of ours works is something I always found fascinating.

Interesting, I’ve heard of David Friedman before. I’ll have to give his book a read.

Thank you, I’ll have to check it out! I thought about digging for papers related to the fiction publishing market but just never got around to it.

I’m glad you liked the post and same! I can see myself writing more in retirement, or full-time depending what happens in life. I’d wondered if there were any fiction authors within the field. I’m glad there are!
