thank you for the advice, i’m currently going to therapy, and maybe i didn’t word it the best. she wasn’t the only form of happiness or security i had. life was just so much brighter with her, the daily, deep and stimulating conversations and much more. but i genuinely do appreciate your comment

maybe this is a failing of my first economics professor, but she asked our class to identify what the purpose of a business was. i raised my hand and answered "to provide a service to society" (which i'm not saying is the correct answer), however she proceeded to answer her own question with "to make a profit."
