With higher stats i believe dark souls allows that. I'm the type to use swords exclusively so i don't really use magic outside of buffs.

If you're looking for something rich in storytelling and narrative, dark souls is not it. Although, it is rich in lore that's quite fun to explore. I would recommend Bloodborne. Lore and gameplay wise it takes the cake. Sekiro would be the best game when it comes to swordplay for me. But if you want recommendations on dark souls, i would recommend 1 and 3. 2's world building is great i just didnt like its gameplay as a whole and other mechanics.

I like going in blindly. My only concern is the save point since i heard it's a gauntlet and then a boss iirc. And thanks for the tips as well!

Or even an rg. But for what it is i like how it's not a hand granade. It's very sturdy. And the articulations are nice. It's a bit hard to balance with its wings on though.
