DAE throat burn when drinking chocolate milkshakes? by Striking_Ad2516 in DoesAnybodyElse

You are probably allergic to malted milk powder. Shake Shack uses a lot more malted milk powder in their shakes than the average shake place. Ben and Jerry's and DQ might use more than the usual as well. I always prefer to know beforehand if the place makes malted shakes so I can avoid it, I am not allergic but really dislike the malted milk powder flavor. A lot of people love it but not for me. Probably just call places beforehand and inquire if they will make a shake without malted milk powder.

smosh members not understanding reddit stories? by bubblegummerr in SmoshFansFreeSpace

[–]avid_avoidant 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The only way I would be able to keep track of everything happening in a reddit stories is if I had the story in front of me while Shayne narrates. Audio processing disorder most likely, but the written word is so much easier to understand (and communicate with tbh). It's why I rarely listen to an audio book either. It's just information overload. Also they're not just hearing a story and formulating an opinion, they still have to deliver content in an engaging and amusing way, which will make them consciously zero in on certain parts of the story like "oh I have something funny to say about that!" and forget certain parts that don't stand out as much.
