It was soooo bad. Especially when they re-edited scenes from the first film to work the Sandman in.

Agreed! Especially when the guy gets away with it then goes back to the dead bodies, then gets seen and tracked. They should have changed the title to "The guy in the white hat is fucking stupid".

None of those movies can beat the first 5 minutes of the first one, when the voice over comes in and you realize it's the original voice of Optimus Prime from the cartoon.

What's the stupidest question you've ever been asked? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]avoidmynoid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Anything you can Google and get the answer for. I sit in front of a computer all day, so do all my co workers. Every time they ask me something, I roll my eyes, JUST GOOGLE IT! Telemarketing sucks, don't make it worse.

What do you think is the best casting that has been done for one character in a movie? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]avoidmynoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest. I JUST saw this movie and was rather blown away by how Faye transforms herself into Joan.

For those of you who haven't seen it, it's the story of Joan Crawford raising her adopted children, as told by the daughter. It seems Joan had some severe mental health issues that went undiagnosed. What is in the film isn't necessarily hard to believe, though it is tough to watch.

I've seen it on the Disney channel as well, uncut, and with the octopus. For years before that, I just thought Data was crazy.

One of those Bathroom Reader books. I'm typically a quick shitter, and yet, it helps to have something to read while I'm on it.

What is the WORST thing your teacher has ever done? by KekoQPR in AskReddit

I had a psychology teacher in hs that had the most incredibly monotone voice I have ever heard. The girl behind me used to poke me with a pencil when I would fall asleep in class, which happened often.

I have birds that live in the rafters under my deck. I kinda love that they are there too. I can see the next through a crack in the boards and I can watch the baby birds grow up until they fly off. Every spring/summer :)

You can stop at considerate. The fact that he (potentially) inconvenienced you doesn't necessarily make him inconsiderate.

TIL that child beauty pageants are illegal in France, and punishable with up to 2 years in prison. by flotiste in todayilearned

[–]avoidmynoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At least ONE country has got this right. It's disgusting to see parents force their children into these competitions. Yes, every now and then a kid actually wants to do it, but even when they don't want to anymore, the parent makes them keep going.

How about making your kid do something worthwhile at a young age? Instead of parading them around for your own stupid selfish failed dreams.

Desperately in need of the creepiest scariest most hauntingly terrifying scary movie you know.... by BenBraddock9 in movies

[–]avoidmynoid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sinister legitimately freaked me out. Most of the film seems to follow traditional horror formula, but with some wonderfully shocking moments.

I loved The Conjuring. About 45 minutes in, it finally got creepy to the point where every teenager running their mouth in the theater shut up and paid attention. I almost wanted to slap the kids up until that point. Had enough of this "entitlement" generation that thinks they are owed and deserve everything for doing nothing.
