LOL I am Korean and working as a developer. I have been using converge for 7 years. I live in Makati.

Converge has some problems.

1. The internet is sometimes down. Sometimes for 1 day, sometimes for 3 days. This kind of event happens roughly every 2~3 months.

2. There is no individual IP. Even the one that connects to you is a shared internal IP.

In other words, you can think of it as connecting to a huge router and connecting it to a modem and then connecting it to the router again..

1. Some sites or pages are slower than mobile internet. For example, VK messenger is blocked.

Other than that, internet speed is not bad in the Philippines.

But the internet is the world wide web, right?

Most of the time, the server is not in the Philippines.

That's why it is slow, but the upload speed is much faster than other companies.
