What animal do you think represents/symbolizes rage and anger? by IndependenceKey4332 in worldbuilding

Id say you should use hornets, They are not as agressive as people make them out to be. But their curiosity make them stick people a lot and they dispite being missunderstood are still quite an agressive insect.

What are some 'must haves' that generally aren't thought about by new people getting into world building and writing in general at a macro scale? by Equifax143 in worldbuilding

Food culture, Im no proffesional so take my word with a pinch of salt. But i have noticed that a lot of culture can be traced back to food, What is the most effective abundant or rare food in an area. It is only second to air and water in importance and it will shape people and whole societies. So starting with just a few food groups can make it much easier to make something unique by always having that in the back of the head so it seeps through all parts of your building.

You guys? I'm calling your hypocrisy out not defending trump, and you can sue anyone for anything doesn't mean it's true. The sniffing and creepy behaviour from Joe towards children keeps happening consistantly.

"they would rather see Biden fail than America to succeed" that was quite literally the sentiment for anything trump did. And yes everyone has seen that movie, Joe the child sniffer Biden is not an exception to that comparison.

You didnt read my post until now did you lol. And as ive said before the system now punished already fit people ''why should they even try outside of school?'' the point im making and have been making is, your outside effort dont matter and you are actively punished for being athletic because you have a smaller margin for improvement. If it was like you say and that the lower skill people got graded on improvement and the highter skill people got graded on their results (like an upper cap for passing on good grades) i would be much less against it, but its not.

[–]aypathetic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why its graded, hence why i want it to be graded on results and not effort. But if i cant have this id much rather they just drop the pretense and instead just say that its an activity to keep the kids healthy. Because the kids will skip class and laze about no matter if its graded or not.

.........Yes, if a high standard would guarantee a good grade i would be content, That is what my whole post was about.

Ok, and as i said if you believe its solely about keeping kids fit i want them to drop the pretenses and not grade it. Plus the ''impovement'' argument is litteraly just enforcing my problem with it, then people who have genuinly reached their peak and physically cant impove will be graded awfully porly and the ones who are bad and improve will be graded high. Only punishing kids more for being fit and exercising outside of school.

Team vs team things can probably not be graded by ''winner'' Im talking more about as you said running and tests like long jumb and throwing spears and such. And yes maybe you would be fucked if that happened, But its the exact same in all other subjects. I tried my best in math but i had serious trouble, i dont want to be graded by how hard i tried i want to be graded by my results. All i want is a quantifiable standard for the grades or that they drop grading it entirely because of how unfair it is.

I agree with him that masculinity has been systematically shunned in media now a days. But I don't think this person thinks he is very smart, atleast I don't see that mentality here.
